The HobbyZone Apprentice STOL S 700mm is scaled down from popular trainer aircraft, built to make learning to fly RC planes fun. Its ultra-micro size means you can fly it in larger yards, parks, or sports fields where bigger models typically cannot. This trainer design offers Short Take Off and Landing (STOL) capabilities.

- Brushless motor: Takes common 2S 300mAh batteries, handles light wind.
- EPO construction: Lightweight yet durable, built to shrug off less-than-perfect landings.
- Taildragger landing gear: Oversized tires handle paved, dirt, gravel, and grass surfaces.
- Removable wing: Simple thumbscrew attachment for transport and storage.
Electronics and Flight Control
- SAFE technology: Offers three flight modes, Beginner, Intermediate, and Experienced, for progressive learning.
- 4-channel control: Allows for basic aerobatics like loops, rolls, and inverted flight as skill develops.
- Spektrum SLT6 transmitter: 2.4GHz controller included with the RTF version.
- Dual-protocol receiver: Compatible with DSMX/DSM2 and SLT FHSS transmitters.
This RTF model comes with everything needed to fly in one box, making it a solid choice for a new RC pilot. It suits those learning to fly fixed-wing aircraft and pilots looking for a capable small-field trainer. You can find more planes in our collection.
