The UMX Gee Bee R-2 handles like a sport model, not the short-coupled racer its looks suggest. It flies great in parks and larger yards. This is a compact plane that still has presence in the air.
Flight characteristics
- AS3X stability: works behind the scenes, helps keep the plane tracking straight and level.
- SAFE Select: offers self-leveling and limits pitch and bank angles. You can switch it off if you don't need it.
- Flight envelope: good for smaller spaces but still gets up and moves when you want it to.
Power and electronics
- Motor: handles 2S or 3S LiPo packs for varied flight.
- Modified airframe: designed to take the extra weight and speed of a 3S pack.
- BNF setup: binds to your Spektrum DSM2/DSMX transmitter.
This is a Bind-N-Fly model. It arrives assembled and ready for flight once you bind it. If you're new to RC planes, the SAFE Select mode can help you get used to flying a unique airframe like this. Remember to check out our size guide for other planes.
