This is the UMX Turbo Timber Evolution, a scaled-down ultra-micro version of the popular 1.5m model. It updates the original UMX Turbo Timber, with a reinforced airframe and stronger linkages. This lets it handle the extra power from its new 2S and 3S compatible system.

It comes equipped with LED landing, navigation, and strobe lights. The plane also feeds real-time battery voltage and other telemetry data back to compatible transmitters. You can also add optional UMX floats, sold separately, for water takeoffs and landings. Its ultra-micro size means you can fly it in many yards, parks, and sports fields, or even indoors in gyms and other suitable spaces. You can browse more RC planes here.

Airframe and features

Reinforced airframe: designed to handle the increased power from 2S and 3S LiPo batteries.
Stronger linkages: resist flex under higher loads, maintaining control authority.
LED light system: factory-installed landing, navigation, and strobe lights for scale looks.
Optional floats: accepts dedicated UMX floats for water operations.

Electronics and Power

2S and 3S power system: upgraded for higher power, offering more climb and speed.
Telemetry enabled: provides real-time battery voltage and other data to your transmitter.
Brushless outrunner: delivers efficient power in a small package.
Spektrum Receiver: DSMX / DSM2 compatible, comes with AS3X and SAFE Select.

This is a Bind-N-Fly Basic model. You will need your own Spektrum DSMX / DSM2 compatible transmitter, a 2S or 3S 280-300mAh LiPo battery, and a compatible LiPo charger to get it in the air. It’s a good choice for pilots looking for a versatile STOL plane that flies in smaller spaces.
